2026 Cable & Wire Harness Competition - Regional Qualification Germany

Compete at electronica 2026

Professional technicians and harness assembly specialists are invited to demonstrate their expertise at the 2026 Cable and Wire Harness Competition Regional Qualification Germany, held at theGlobal Electronics Association booth A1-463 during electronica in Munich.

Competitors will have 60 minutes to produce a fully functional wire harness assembly using identical materials and tools. Certified IPC judges will evaluate the work in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 criteria.

Judging criteria

Judging focuses on crimp accuracy and termination quality; correct routing, labeling, and bundling; compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards; overall appearance and electrical functionality; and completion time.

• No Global Electronics Association membership or IPC certification is required.
• All competition tools and materials will be provided.
