2026 Hand Soldering Competition - Regional Qualification Germany

Compete at electronica 2026

Professional soldering specialists are invited to demonstrate their skills at the 2026 Hand Soldering Competition Regional Qualification Germany, held at the Global Electronics Association booth A1-463 during electronica in Munich.

Competitors will have 60 minutes to assemble a complex printed circuit board in accordance with IPC-A-610 Class 3 criteria. IPC Master Instructors will evaluate workmanship, process quality, electrical functionality, and completion time.

Prizes for professionals

Best Company Team Award

Companies may enter two or three competitors. The highest combined scores of the two best competitors from the same company will determine the winning team.

Registration

• Participation is free of charge.
• No Global Electronics Association membership or IPC certification is required.
• All competition tools and materials will be provided.
• Complete the registration form to register for the professional competition.
• A confirmation email will specify your assigned competition date and time.
