Meet the e-Mobility Quality and Reliability Advisory Group (EVQR) Leadership Team

As automotive electrification continues to accelerate, ensuring the quality, reliability, and safety of electronic systems requires collaboration across the entire supply chain. The e-Mobility Quality & Reliability Advisory Group (EVQR) brings together manufacturers, suppliers, OEMs, material providers, testing organizations, and technology leaders to identify emerging challenges, share best practices, and help shape the future of automotive electronics.

EVQR serves as the Global Electronics Association's technical forum for advancing e-mobility quality and reliability. The group identifies system-level gaps where existing standards no longer meet evolving industry needs, helps prioritize new standards and guideline development, and provides technical leadership on topics including charging systems, battery management systems, power conversion, thermal management, high-voltage electronics, and mission-profile-based reliability.

Beyond standards development, EVQR supports the industry through technical conferences, educational programs, collaborative workgroups, white papers, and thought leadership that accelerate practical solutions and build industry consensus. By connecting expertise from across the automotive electronics ecosystem, EVQR helps ensure that standards evolve alongside rapidly advancing vehicle technologies.

The leadership team below provides strategic direction for these initiatives, helping guide collaboration across the global electronics industry and advance reliable, safe, and innovative e-mobility technologies.

Chair: Jason Schwartz (Kyzen Corporation) is a respected leader with extensive experience in quality and reliability for e-mobility applications. Jason has actively contributed to EVQR, and we look forward to his guidance in driving the group’s initiatives forward.

Jason Schwartz currently serves as KYZEN's Global Product Line Manager for Evolving Technology, where he focuses on developing cleaning and process control technologies in the e-mobility, Additive Manufacturing, and High Purity sectors. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Jason did a brief stint in organometallic catalysis research before joining KYZEN in 2013. His chemistry background has made him a valuable addition to the KYZEN team in his current and previous roles as Regional Manager and Business Development Manager. Jason has served on many industry association technical committees, attended and presented at various industry conferences and events, and was named an emerging leader by Products Finishing Magazine.

Vice Chair: Brent Frizzell (SCS Coatings) brings a wealth of knowledge in coatings and materials for e-mobility applications, and his insights will be instrumental in strengthening our advisory group’s impact. Brent and Jason have actively contributed to the group’s activities, speaking at automotive industry events and leading and supporting system-level reliability analysis projects.

As Global Electronics & Automotive Market Manager at Specialty Coating Systems, Inc., Brent Frizzell focuses on supporting global customers with their new and existing applications and finding the best conformal coating solution. He has nearly 10 years of experience in the industrial sensor and factory automation markets and holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
