As the electronics industry continues to respond to new challenges emerging daily on COVID-19, IPC answered the industry’s request to continue IPC certification and provide provisions for those individuals working from home office

In direct response to requests from industry to provide training and certification in various aspects of the electronics industry, IPC is introducing its newest certification course, the IPC Certified Electronics Program Manager (CEPM) Training and Certification. CEPM is a six-week, online, instructor-led course providing all aspects of program management specific to the electronics industry.

IPC's Validation Services Program has awarded an IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML) Class 3, to the Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) business area. Following an initial audit by IPC, Lockheed Martin RMS becomes one of the OEM trusted sources and suppliers meeting the stringent requirements of the Qualified Manufacturing Listing (QML) based on three of IPC's foremost standards: IPC J-STD-001, Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies and IPC/WHMA-A-620, Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies.

IPC's Validation Services Program is proud to announce Alternative Manufacturing Inc.’s (AMI) IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML) recertification. AMI is an electronics contract manufacturing company based in Winthrop, Maine and provides PCB assembly, wire harness production, and product assembly for a variety of industries. To earn recertification of the QML, AMI successfully completed an intensive audit based on two of IPC's foremost standards: IPC J-STD-001, Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies and IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies

IPC's Validation Services Program has awarded Ventec International Group, a global electronics materials manufacturing company headquartered in Suzhou, China, a second IPC-4101 Qualified Products Listing (QPL). Ventec successfully qualified their products, VT-90H and VT-901, to specification sheet 40 of IPC-4101E, Specification for Base Materials for Rigid and Multilayer Printed Boards

IPC's Validation Services Program has awarded an IPC-4101 Qualified Products Listing (QPL) to Arlon Electronic Materials Division, an electronics material manufacturing company headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

IPC's Validation Services Program is proud to announce the recertification of two IEC Electronics Corporation facilities, located in Newark, New York and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Both facilities are certified to IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML) at the Class 3 level.
