An IMAPS/Global electronics association Workshop Focused on Increasing Domestic MicroelectronicS Production

MVC’s partnership with the Global Electronics Association is grounded in a clear objective: establish a common, standards-based definition of acceptability that is understood the same way by operators, inspectors, engineering, and quality teams. IPC Standards by Global Electronics Association, serve as a reference for workmanship expectations, while workforce training and IPC certification reinforce them through structured learning.

The Global Electronics Policy Council unites the world’s leading electronics companies to define, coordinate, and advance a policy agenda that strengthens supply-chain resilience, accelerates innovation, and secures trusted access to global markets.

The Global Electronics Association and the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) developed the Scope 3 Category 1 (Scope 3.1) GHG Guidance to help electronics companies better assess emissions from purchased goods and services and support more effective supplier engagement strategies.

As organizations begin applying the guidance across sustainability, procurement, and reporting initiatives, we want to better understand how it is being used, what is working well, and where additional clarity or resources may be valuable.

Please take a few minutes to complete the feedback form below. Your input will help inform future updates, supporting resources, and continued industry collaboration around Scope 3.1 emissions reporting and decarbonization efforts.

IPC India offers various levels of certification programs – Certified IPC Trainer (CIT); Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) & New - Certified Standards Expert (CSE) for the electronics manufacturing companies in India as well as neighboring countries, Middle East and Africa Region.
