肖茜女士现任全球电子协会(前身为“IPC国际电子工业联接协会”)东亚区总裁,现居中国上海。她全面负责协会在大中华区、日本和韩国的标准制定、教育培训、行业倡导、市场研究及会员服务等核心事务,致力于推动电子行业在技术创新、质量提升、人才培养、数字化转型、绿色可持续发展和国际合作等方面实现持续进步与协同升级。

近二十年来,肖茜女士在协会先后担任财务总监、运营副总裁等多个关键管理职位,积累了深厚的行业经验,并对电子产业链及区域市场发展具备深刻洞察。2021年至2024年,她出任亚洲区总裁,统筹管理东亚与东南亚地区业务。在她的带领下,协会在亚洲实现了快速成长,成功将业务覆盖拓展至日本、韩国、越南、泰国等多个国家,进一步提升了行业影响力与会员服务体系的深度与广度。

肖茜女士拥有上海交通大学技术转移硕士学位、同济大学国际工商管理硕士学位,以及上海大学会计学学士学位,具备坚实的跨学科知识结构与全球化视野。她在推动协会全球化战略落地、强化区域协作与促进产业联接方面发挥了重要作用。

Biography of Ms. Sydney Xiao

Ms. Sydney Xiao is the President of the East Asia Region at the Global Electronics Association (formerly IPC), currently based in Shanghai, China. She is fully responsible for overseeing the association’s core operations in Greater China, Japan, and South Korea, including standards development, education and training, industry advocacy, market research, and member services. She is committed to advancing the electronics industry in areas such as technological innovation, quality improvement, talent development, digital transformation, sustainability, and global collaboration.

Over the past two decades, Sydney has held several key leadership roles within the association, including Financial Director and Vice President of Operations for the Asia region, gaining extensive management experience and deep insights into the global electronics value chain and regional market dynamics. From 2021 to 2024, she served as President of the Asia Region, where she successfully led the expansion of the association’s presence across East and Southeast Asia. Under her leadership, the organization achieved significant growth and extended its reach to countries including Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and Thailand, strengthening both its industry influence and service capabilities.

Sydney holds a Master’s degree in Technology Transfer from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a Master’s degree in International Business Administration from Tongji University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Shanghai University. Her solid interdisciplinary academic background and global perspective have enabled her to play a vital role in driving the association’s global strategy, fostering regional collaboration, and enhancing connectivity across the electronics industry.
