This introductory course will focus on front-end design concepts such as schematic capture, library parts creation, basic electrical engineering concepts, and documentation.
This course introduces foundational principles for understanding electrical systems and electronic hardware. Topics include basic DC and AC electrical theory, passive and semiconductor components, the use of basic test tools, and familiarity with common methods of inspection.
Skilled soldering experts (F/M) will compete for 60 minutes on a complex circuit board assembly to win the 2026 National title, earn a cash prize, and compete for a coveted spot at the IPC Hand Soldering World Championship, to take place at electronica in Munich in November 2026.

IPC E-Textiles Europe 2020 | Virtual Summit is a technical education summit for innovators, technologists, materials suppliers and brands to learn about the latest innovations, designs and manufacturing concepts for e-textiles technologies being developed in Europe as well as to collaborate on solutions and identify partners. This summit will consist of four educational workshop sessions over two days. Each workshop will include tours and interviews with students from four university laboratories in Europe.
